As many of you know, DuBurns Arena is just off I95 in the heart of Canton, MD. The 40,000 square foot indoor facility, includes a 15,500 sq. foot turf field, a Dance and Multipurpose Studio, Event and Party Rooms, an Outdoor Pavilion, and more! Soon, the turf will be replaced with the most technically engineered turf system that is currently used by 22 NFL Teams. We will also be renovating areas for structured training and conditioning for individuals and teams. This combination of fitness, soccer, and other field sports, makes for a fantastic family offering. We plan to provide youth and adult indoor soccer leagues, Lil’ Kickers youth development programs, programming for School’s Out and Summer Camps and an extensive line up for birthday parties and special events.
Over the first year of operation, we plan to invest over $500,000 in improvements to the Arena. Our plan calls for creation of a dedicated training and conditioning area; refurbishing the locker rooms, redoing the indoor turf field, and much more. These upgrades will take place systematically over the first year of operation and we intend to do everything possible to minimize the impact to our customers.
Coppermine intends to hit the ground running as classes begin the Week of March 9th. We are already taking registrations for Spring Leagues for youth and adult sports, Lil’ Kickers Soccer, NFL Flag Football, The Lacrosse Academy and Sluggers Baseball.
